"PhD... and then?"
This is the first RTG networking & mentoring workshop for women in mathematics. Students of the RTG meet other female PhD students from other groups within Mathematics at the universities of Mannheim and Heidelberg, exchange ideas and thoughts in a relaxed atmosphere and learn from our invited guests and experts.
Topics cover
- how to get the best out of graduate school,
- writing a dissertation,
- publishing,
- exploring job market options and how to prepare for them,
- teaching and
- balancing work with the rest of life.
We have invited PD Dr. Susanne Koch (Hamburg University) and Professor Dr. Anne Leucht (TU Braunschweig) as mentors to give advice and insight on the above mentioned topics.
